Machine tape is carton sealing packing tape, but applied by a tape machine instead of by hand, to increase productivity and efficiency in packing. This medium to heavy duty tape application is not meant for hand sealing, and therefore not used with hand tape dispensers. The tape is available in 2 inch and 3 inch clear, and the length of each roll is usually 1000 yards per roll. The material of the machine tape that we commonly stock is hot melt adhesive and 2.2 mil thickness. Each tape case comes with either 4 rolls of 3 inch x 1000 yd/roll, or 6 rolls of 2 inch x 1000 yd/roll. It comes standard as 34 lb/inch tensile strength and is used for industrial applications. |
